Paper: Deja Views dp, Wild Wasabi, Red Riding Hood
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke, Barely Banana, So Saffron, Black Stazon

Twinkling H2Os Scripture Card

This was made for several challenges at SCS. I love using the H2Os. I am so sad they are going OOB since I just discovered how much I like using them. I love tulips (and almost every other flower) and was inspired by several of Glenda Mosher's beautiful paintings. I have been waiting to use this stamp for something so the SCS inspiration challenge today gave me a chance.

Stamps: AZADI EARLES
Paper: Paper Adventures dp, Only Orange, Lovely Lilac, White
Ink: Twinkling H2Os, Stazon Black
Accessories: ribbon, brads, dimensionals, computer font, Marvy corner punch

I am making some card for my Mom to give to her friends from Sunday School. This one is for the weekly color challenge and a sketch challenge at SCS. My computer font is by Creating Keepsakes and is called Society. I like it because it looks like old Valentines and birthday cards.

Stamps: Natural Beauty
Paper: American Crafts dp, Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink, Rose Romance
Accessories: Nestabilities, Dew Drops, Dimensionals
Techniques: Watercolor with ink

Baby Boy Card

I made this card for my son's Youth Pastor and his wife for their shower. I used the Nestabilities die for a stencil and sponged around the edge. I also used dimensionals to give the card some depth. These may be my 2 new favorite techniques or embellishments. I am fickle though. I will have a new favorite soon :-)

Stamps: Brides and Babies
Paper: Baby print dp, Sage Shadow, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana
Ink: Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Blush Blossom, Black
Accessories: Dimensionals, Nestabilities, rickrack, thread

Sticker Challenge Birthday Card

For this challenge at SCS you were supposed to use a sticker. The large shoe is a sticker I got for scrapbooking. The sentiment is computer generated so there are actually no stamps used on this card. The dp is Basic Gray Scarlet's Letter and Bo Bunny. The black rhinestones are by Kaiser. I used the SU Top Note die and Nestabilities. The shoe is mounted to cardstock and then dimensionals. The sentiment was from an old postcard to match the shoe.

Me & Carrie Lou Sweet Peas Card

I bought this stamp in a lot. It is by Me and Carrie Lou. It turns out they are sold in Florida at Violette's. They have some wonderful floral stamps. This card was for the sketch challenge on Wednesday. I love Basic Grey and got to use some scraps from Lily Kate to make this card. What a great idea. No waste! I used a Fiskars lace punch for the corners and a computer sentiment. I also used some organdy white ribbon. SU cardstock is ballet blue and kiwi kiss.

Twinkling H20s Butterfly Card

This is my first time trying the H2Os. I noticed Luminarte is going OOB so I wanted to try the colors I have to see if I should get more. I made this and another card. On the other card I used them like regular watercolors instead of stamping with them. The sheen is amazing. I did touch up the edge of the image for this card with a brush to make the edge cleaner. Check out the Ribbon Frame Tutorial over at Waltzing Mouse's blog. I used my Basic Grey notch cutting tool for the first time. You have to use a lot of pressure to get it to work but it really came in handy for this frame.

Inspiration Challenge Card

Here is a card I did for a Inspiration challenge at SCS. This challenge was to make a card inspired by Fritz and Floyd china. I was inspired by an egg plate with a watercolor plaid design and a bunny on it. I used my blender pen and ink pads to watercolor the bunny from the SU set Bunny Buddies. I machine stitched the layers together and added a tag with a computer greeting "Easter Blessings." I also used dimensionals again. Dimensionals really give card a professional look. I don't know why I waited so long to use them. Green and purple are my favorite colors and I was glad to get to use them in this card.

Cool Cat Card

This stamp is from SUs Cool Cat stamp set. I have many friends that love cats so I decided to get a head start on birthday cards for them. This one is also for a color challenge at SCS. This was my first time to use my Nestabilities for a mask to sponging the center of the sentiment. I like the way it looks and how easy it is so I will be doing it a lot more. The dp is by MAMBI and come is monchromatic packages. I bought the black and a package of the red. The solids are Rose Red, Always Artichoke, black and white. I used some Swarovski crystals for the eyes and some sheer swirl ribbon to finish it off.

Pink Chocolate Kiwis Color Challenge Card

I decided to make a get well/encouraging card for this challenge. The Time Well Spent set is new to me even though it is retired. I water colored the little butterfly with ink. I used Pink Passion, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip ink and paper. The sentiment is a computer font. The dp is by KI Memories and is actually a Christmas paper but it went with the colors I needed. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the background and cut the Top Note die and Nestabilities. I added a few Prima flowers with a brad and finally used the big bite my son gave me for Christmas. I love it. It is much easier to use than the Cropadile and more versatile.
