Today's card was made using a Fancy Pants stamp for the image and the sentiment is a stamp from Michaels. Cardstock is Concord Crush and Crumb Cake. Image was embossed with white embossing powder, colored with Prismacolor pencils, and embellished with rhinestones and lace.

Butterfly Monogram Set






Todays cards are made with DCWV Mariposa paper and JustRite stamps. Stampin Up cardstock is Garden Green and Wild Wasabi. Ink is Baked Brown Sugar. These are for a sweet lady where I volunteer who gave me her dryer when she got a new one. I have been having to dry all my clothes twice for about 6 years so I was sooo glad to get one that works well.

Today's card was made using an older set I have from PTI called Butterfly Kisses. Patterned paper is Ginger Blossoms from Stampin Up! and cardstock is Ruby Red. I used Ruby Rad ink for the images and to ink the edge of the sentiment square. I added some SU Pearls for embellishment.

Today's card is made with the Stampin Up Script background stamp and an Anna Griffin Hydrangea stamp. Image is colored with Copic markers and cut out with Spellbinders Labels 18. Sentiment is computer generated and is cut out with SU Word Window punch and Modern Label punch. Patterned paper is SU Shades of Spring and cardstock is Certainly Celery. Ink is Tea Dye and Spun Sugar Distessed ink. I added pearls, tulle and velvet ribbon.

Distressed Ink Get Well Card and Anniversary Card Redo


Today's card was made with a new hostess set from Stampin Up! called Morning Meadow. I used Faded Denim and Broken Glass Distress ink and embellished the image with pearls. Sentiment is computer generated. Cardstock is Stampin Up! Not Quite Navy and dp is Basic Grey Piccadilly.


This card is a copy of a card I did the other day for my  brother and sister in law. I needed another anniversary card and I got so many compliments on theirs that I made another one just like it with different colors. Ink is SU Baked Brown Sugar. Leafy Embossed Birthday Card






Today's card was made using 3 different stamps. The sentiment is by Stamping Up and is from the set Made For you. First the background was inked with Distress ink - Shabby Shutters and Worn Lipstick. The background was stamped with SU Script background using Shabby Shutters and then Hero Arts Leafy Vines was stamped with Versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder. Butterfly was made using Spellbinders Flying Beauties, then inked with Worn Lipstick and embellished with pearls. Sentiment was stamped with Worn Lipstick and Spellbinders Labels 8 and Decorative Labels 8 were used.

More Distress Ink - Butterfly Birthday Card


The Next card for today was made using Wild Honey and Dusty Concord Distress Ink. I used the Bella Toile Background stamp from Stampin Up! Patterned paper is from Basic Grey and is called Indie Bloom. I used the Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2 die along with Curved Rectangles. Butterflies were made using a Martha Stewart punch. I added topaz rhinestones for embellishment. Cardstock is Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White.

Distressed Ink Get Well Card



This is my first time using Distress Ink and love it. I used Faded Jeans and Shabby Shutters and then stamped my image with Versamark ink. I embossed the image with white embossing powder. Stamp is from Fancy Pants. I have had it for years but never used it. Butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch and embellished with rhinestones. Cardstock is by Stampin Up and called Island Indigo and Old Olive. Sentiment is computer generated and die used is Fancy Framed Tags by Spellbinders.

Grey and Yellow Anniversary Card


Today's card is a card I made for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. I used two different stamp sets for the sentiment - Verve Thankful Accents and PTI Heart Prints. The cross is a Unity stamp. I used Basic Grey ink and paper and Domestic Goddess dp. Border punches are by Fiskars and Martha Stewart. Spellbinders circles and Picot edged circle were used for cutting the sentiment. I added tiny silver stones for embellishment.

Especially for You Cantaloupe Pistachio Card


Today's card is again made with the new In Colors Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding along with the new Neutral color Smoky Slate. I used the new hostess set again called Morning Meadow and the set Made for You. Cardstock was embossed with Petals A Plenty Folder. Sentiment is framed with the Decorative Label punch. The flowers were made with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and embellished with pearls.

Two Floral Birthday Cards


The first card for today was made using an upcoming hostess set called Morning Meadow. Cardstock is from the new In Colors for 2013-2015 - Pistachio Pudding and Baked Brown Sugar. These will be available June 1st. I also used Baked Brown Sugar ink. Designer paper is retired and called Shades of Spring. I can't wait to order the new dp that matched the In Colors. Ribbon is Wild Wasabi and Button is from the Regals collection.


The second card was made with the sentiment set Made for You and the Reason to Smile set. Cardstock is River Rock, Baja Blue and Island Indigo. Designer paper is Fan Fair. I used Copic markers to give the flower some shading. Chantilly lace and rhinestones were added for embellishment.

Blooming with Kindness Thank You


The second card for today was made with the SU set called Blooming with Kindness. I stamped the image with Melon Mambo and sponged it with Pear Pizzazz. Cardstock is Pear Pizzaz, Whisper White and Melon Mambo with Pear Pizzazz and Elegant Eggplant designer paper. I added ribbon and pink crystals for embellishment.

Scripture Thank You Card

Today's first card was made with the SU set called Say It with Scripture. Once again I used Pool Party cardstock with Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White and a scrap of Orchid Opulence (I think). I embossed the background and cut the oval with Spellbinders Floral Ovals. Ribbon and pearls were added for embellishment. Pistachio Pudding and the other new colors will be available at the end of May.

Morning Meadow Thank You Card


Today's card was made from some of  the new StampIn Up! In colors for  2013-2015. Pistachio Pudding, crisp cantaloupe  and Strawberry Slush. I also added a bit of Pool Party because it goes great with the all the new In colors. I used a new hostess set called  Morning Meadow and stamped with the Pistachio Pudding ink. I still can't get over how easy the new ink pads are to use. I have stamped 6-8 images in the past to get a perfect one but this time it took one time - a miracle for me :-) I added some dimensionals and rhinestones to make everything pop! I also used two embossing folders - Lattice and Elegant Bouquet.

Elegant Thank you Card


Today's card was made with the Stampin Up! set called Elegant Greetings. Cardstock is Primrose Petals and Early Expresso. Ink is Chocolate Chip and Primrose Petals. I used the new ink pads and they are so amazing. I am surprised every time how bold they are. Last year the first color I ordered after I saw the new colors was Primrose Petals. I forget to use it so I am making an effort to use it before the new colors come out and I am totally obsessed with them. They are so cute. I think of them as ice cream colors. Wait until you see them. I should be posting cards with them in the next few days. Stitched satin ribbon and pearls were added for embellishment.

Lilac Stippled Blossoms Birthday Card


I love the SU Stippled Blossoms. Here is my latest card using the set. I used SU designer paper along with Almost Amethyst and Lovely Lilac cardstock. Ink is the same colors along with Green Galore and Gable Green. I embellished the image with tiny pearls. I also added lace and ribbon. The label was cut with StampIn Up! labels framelits.

Mother's Day Bling Card


I made my dear hubby's Mom a card for Mother's Day In the last post so now I made one for my Mom. I used a stamp set from Gina K called Festive Frames and an old PSX stamp for the sentiment. Cardstock is Summer Starfruit and Basic Gray. Designer paper is Beau Chateau. I adde some tiny crystals and little flowers from the punch pack by StampIn Up! Finally I added a Butterfly from an MS punch aEmbellished with crystals and SU Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Card Color Change






The first card for today is a redo of yesterday's card.  Something was bothering me about the color combination so I took it apart and used Basic Gray instead of Island Indigo. I like this combination so much better. Sometimes I take a card apart many times before I am satisfied. I am so glad Stampin Up is coming out with another gray. It is lighter and will make some beautiful color combinations. I can't wait to use it!

Two Elements of Style Cards



Today's cards both use the Stampin Up! set Elements of Style. The background is a stamp called Paisley Print. Cardstock is Island Indigo and Pretty in Pink. I used VersaMark ink for the background and image. The sentiment is computer generated and sponged with Island Indigo ink. The butterfly was made with Embosslits Beautiful Wings and the flowers with Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. Both are embellished with SU Pearls. Pink tulle was added. This was my first time to work with it but it glued down easily.
 

The next card is made with Elements of Style, also. I used Pool Party and Soft Suede cardstock. Background is Belle Toile. The embellishments and ink are the same as the other card. Ribbon is Pool Party satin.

Today's card is made with the Stampin Up! stamp called Beautiful Birthday and the set Reason to Smile. The designer paper from Stampin Up! is called Fan Fair. I love it because it has several lace prints that really can made your cards look vintage. The paper has been put through an embossing folder and pearls were added. The flowers were colored with Copic markers and popped up with dimensionals.

Assistant's Day Thank You Cards


 Today's card was made using Stampin Up! French Foliage, Field Flowers and Itty Bitty Banners. I used Sycamore Street designer paper as well as the Scallop Trim Border Punch and some Stitched Midnight Muse ribbon. Cardstock is Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse. Ink is Midnight Muse. 


These cards were a special order for my brother-in-laws assistants at his church. He wanted an initial of each lady and a verse on each card. I used Soft Sky, Certainly Celery and Almost Amythyst cardstock. The sentiment is computer generated. The punch is by MS. I also used the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder and embellished the cards with a bunch of Stampin Up! pearls.

One Layout - Two Different Cards



My first card today was made with the StampIn Up! set called Bells and Boughs. I used Copic markers to color the image and I sponged A mixture of So Saffron, More Mustard and Yoyo Yellow ink on top of a splatter background stamp and the sentiment. The sentiment is embellished with small rhinestones. Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi. I cut the opening with a Labels framelit die and used an embossing folder after that. I added a small piece of designer paper behind the opening.


My second card is a little simpler. I needed a quick thank-you card so I used Chocolate Chip, Poppy Parade and Creamy Caramel cardstock on this card. Sentiment is from the Stampin Up! set Watercolor Trio. I added some flowers and a button for embellishment.

Today's card is another simple layout but with elements that give it a little more wow-factor. I added some vintage lace and I glued a crystal on a bronze brad to give it a little bling! I used two Stampin Up! sets - Thoughts and Prayers and Embrace Life.

Full Sheet Eagle Scout Cake


I stayed up until 4 am working on this cake. It is the first time I have made a full sheet. I am so glad it is finally done. Now I want a Cricut Cake. It would have save hours even if it was just for the lettering. Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday. The day really got away from me!


Today's card was made using the Stampin Up! set Betsy's Blossoms. This is a great set and this card was so easy. I stamped the blossoms in Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie on some patterned paper. I added some River rock ribbon, lace and rhinestones to give it some personality. I used Crumb Cake and Melon Mambo cardstock - two of my go-to colors.

I used Rich Razzleberry and Summer Starfruit ink for the stamped image along with Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Patterned paper is Sycamore Street and ribbon is  Summer Starfruit Striped Satin. I sponged the background with Baja Blue and added a button for embellishment.

Selling Scout Popcorn Scrapbook Page



Here is one of my layouts for my son's Boy Scout album. This is one of the easier layouts. I used Stampin Up! Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White and More Mustard Cardstock. I cut the popcorn out of So Saffron and Whisper White paper. I inked the edges of the white in So Saffron ink so it looks like butter. Check back later for more scrapbook pages to come.
