Morning Meadow Thank You Card

Today's card was made from some of  the new StampIn Up! In colors for  2013-2015. Pistachio Pudding, crisp cantaloupe  and Strawberry Slush. I also added a bit of Pool Party because it goes great with the all the new In colors. I used a new hostess set called  Morning Meadow and stamped with the Pistachio Pudding ink. I still can't get over how easy the new ink pads are to use. I have stamped 6-8 images in the past to get a perfect one but this time it took one time - a miracle for me :-) I added some dimensionals and rhinestones to make everything pop! I also used two embossing folders - Lattice and Elegant Bouquet.

Elegant Thank you Card

Today's card was made with the Stampin Up! set called Elegant Greetings. Cardstock is Primrose Petals and Early Expresso. Ink is Chocolate Chip and Primrose Petals. I used the new ink pads and they are so amazing. I am surprised every time how bold they are. Last year the first color I ordered after I saw the new colors was Primrose Petals. I forget to use it so I am making an effort to use it before the new colors come out and I am totally obsessed with them. They are so cute. I think of them as ice cream colors. Wait until you see them. I should be posting cards with them in the next few days. Stitched satin ribbon and pearls were added for embellishment.

Lilac Stippled Blossoms Birthday Card

I love the SU Stippled Blossoms. Here is my latest card using the set. I used SU designer paper along with Almost Amethyst and Lovely Lilac cardstock. Ink is the same colors along with Green Galore and Gable Green. I embellished the image with tiny pearls. I also added lace and ribbon. The label was cut with StampIn Up! labels framelits.

Mother's Day Bling Card

I made my dear hubby's Mom a card for Mother's Day In the last post so now I made one for my Mom. I used a stamp set from Gina K called Festive Frames and an old PSX stamp for the sentiment. Cardstock is Summer Starfruit and Basic Gray. Designer paper is Beau Chateau. I adde some tiny crystals and little flowers from the punch pack by StampIn Up! Finally I added a Butterfly from an MS punch aEmbellished with crystals and SU Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Card Color Change

The first card for today is a redo of yesterday's card.  Something was bothering me about the color combination so I took it apart and used Basic Gray instead of Island Indigo. I like this combination so much better. Sometimes I take a card apart many times before I am satisfied. I am so glad Stampin Up is coming out with another gray. It is lighter and will make some beautiful color combinations. I can't wait to use it!

One Layout - Two Different Cards

My first card today was made with the StampIn Up! set called Bells and Boughs. I used Copic markers to color the image and I sponged A mixture of So Saffron, More Mustard and Yoyo Yellow ink on top of a splatter background stamp and the sentiment. The sentiment is embellished with small rhinestones. Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi. I cut the opening with a Labels framelit die and used an embossing folder after that. I added a small piece of designer paper behind the opening.

My second card is a little simpler. I needed a quick thank-you card so I used Chocolate Chip, Poppy Parade and Creamy Caramel cardstock on this card. Sentiment is from the Stampin Up! set Watercolor Trio. I added some flowers and a button for embellishment.

Full Sheet Eagle Scout Cake

I stayed up until 4 am working on this cake. It is the first time I have made a full sheet. I am so glad it is finally done. Now I want a Cricut Cake. It would have save hours even if it was just for the lettering. Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday. The day really got away from me!

Today's card was made using the Stampin Up! set Betsy's Blossoms. This is a great set and this card was so easy. I stamped the blossoms in Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie on some patterned paper. I added some River rock ribbon, lace and rhinestones to give it some personality. I used Crumb Cake and Melon Mambo cardstock - two of my go-to colors.

Selling Scout Popcorn Scrapbook Page

Here is one of my layouts for my son's Boy Scout album. This is one of the easier layouts. I used Stampin Up! Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White and More Mustard Cardstock. I cut the popcorn out of So Saffron and Whisper White paper. I inked the edges of the white in So Saffron ink so it looks like butter. Check back later for more scrapbook pages to come.

Rosey You Are Loved Card

Well, I am finally back! It has been longer than I thought but I finally finished all the wedding invitations for Jennifer and Elizabeth and scrapbook pages for my ds Daniel. I will be posting the invitations soon along with a few of the pages.

Today's card was done using the Stampin Up! stamp set called
You Are Loved. The sentiment stamp coordinates with the Stampin Up!
Decorative Label Punch. I used Rose Red ink and Paper also with Very Vanilla paper. The decorative oval was made using Vary Vanilla paper with my Cricut that I got for Christmas.

My goal is to post 365 cards between June 22, 2012 and June 21, 2013. I have a long way to go so I may be posting more than one card daily for a while. I have gotten quite a few new sets since the first of the year so I will have plenty of inspiration!
