Day 36 Challenge Together Forever Wedding Card

I made this card for a friend who is going to her niece's wedding in August. I used the Together Forever stamp and the SU bird punch. I used real Swarovski crystals because there is nothing like real crystals! The background was made with a Sizzix embossing folder and the sentiment was stamped on Spellbinders fancy labels die.

Challenge Day 34 In the Garden Card

Todays card is made with an older set called In the Garden. Patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket. I used Copic markers to color the image and the sentiment is computer-generated.

Challenge Day 33 God's Beauty Card

This card was made using the stamp set called God's Beauty. The patterned paper is from a paper stack. The image was cut out using Spellbinders Labels 9.

Challenge Day 32 Botanicals Birthday Card

Sorry I have been remiss on my blogging the last few days. I had another project for a church group that had to be finished for a conference. So glad it is done! I used one of my favorite sets for today's card - SU Botanicals. I used some designer paper from MME and Kiwi Kiss.

Day 31 Challenge Rock Star Card

This card was made using the A Little Something set and a computer font for the "Happy Birthday." I made this hoping my son could give it to one of his friends but you never know...teenagers are so picky!

Feathered Friends Baby Card Challenge Day 30

Today's card was done using the SU Feathered Friends set. It is colored with Copic markers and I added a bow and sewed on 2 pearly buttons.

Challenge Day 29 Dream A Little Card

This card was made using the Dream A Little SU set. The sentiment was done on the computer and I added some SU ribbon and K and Co. rhinestones. The image was colored with Copic markers.

Challenge Day 28 Two Step Stamping

Don't be afraid of two step stamping. All you need is a Stampamajig. I have several sets that I bought before Stampin Up! started making clear mount stamps. I never used them because it was so hard to get a perfect image. I tried my Stampajig, that I have had for years now, on this card. It worked great! I also tried Martha Stewart glitter with SU Heat and stick powder, It works great, too!

Challenge Day 27 Black and White Card

This card was made with the Gentler Times set and the Floral Background. It is hard to find black paper that matches some times so I use background stamps to make my own. I also used the Spellbinders Fancy Tags and Oval die on this card.

Touch of Nature Card Challenge Day 26

The card I made today has more of a Victorian look. I used a Fiskars border punch and jet Swarovski crystals to help it look more old-fashioned.

Time Well Spent Challenge Card Day 25

Today's card was made using the Time Well Spent set. I put dimensionals under two of the flowers and added a ribbon tag and some pearls.

Challenge day 24 Berry Best Card

The card I made today is made with the cutest paper. I wish I had more. It is by Cosmo Cricket. The check paper is Creative Memories. The stamp set is Berry Best. I used Copics to color the image and Sahara Sand to sponge the background.

Card Challenge Day 23 - Two set birthday card

Today I am using stamps from two different sets. The flower is from In Full Bloom and the sentiment is from It's Your Birthday. I colored the image with Copic markers and used two different Spellbinders dies for the sentiment.

Challenge Day 22 So Many Scallops Money Cards

Today I used the So Many Scallops set to make a card that holds a check, gift certificate or cash. The first is for a birthday and is made with glitter card stock by DCWV. The second is for a baby gift. I made these to fit in a legal size envelope.

Day 21 Challenge card Illuminations

Today's card set was made with the Illuminations set. I used rhinestones on the flourishes and the dp is from a Recollections black and white paper pack.

Card for Day 20 Challenge More Farm Fresh

The Farm Fresh set has so many cute stamps I could not make just one card with it for my challenge. This card was colored with Copic markers and is made with Basic Grey Marrakesh. The sentiment is computer generated.

Challenge Day 17 - Thoughts and Prayers Card

This is a set of cards using the Thoughts and Prayers Stampin Up stamp set. The folder holds 5 cards and envies and is held closed by a ribbon. This is a very versatile stamp set and comes with a pretty tree image also.

Challenge Day 16 - Flower of the Month Before and After

Today I used the set called Flower of the month. I made some sets back in 2008, I think, for Christmas gifts with birthstones on the cards. Back then I used a lot of embossing plates and did not embellish the inside of the card at all. Today's card has more layers and dimension.

Day 15 Challenge - Booglie Eyes Halloween

This card is made from a heavy shiny purple specialty paper and Yoyo Yellow Cardstock. The stamp set is Booglie Eyes. This is day 15 of my challenge. It is really helping me weed out old sets that I will not use again and decide which ones I should keep. This will make room for new sets!

I made this card at the last minute for my good friend who loves dogs. The set is called Bow Wow.

This is one of my favorite sets. Whenever a set with fruit comes out I have to have it. I colored the image with Copic markers and added some Swarovski crystals to finish it off!

Booglie Eyes Challenge day 11 Card

This card is for my dear DIL's birthday. She loves everything Twilight so that is where the Edward reference comes in. This is for day 11 of my challenge. Making myself actually use the sets I have really does show me that I need to purge some sets. I now have a pile of retired sets to sell. Then I can invest in some new sets. Measure of Life Birthday Card

This is for Day 10 of my challenge to use each of my stamp sets within a year. I have used Measure of Life today for a Birthday card. I used a foil embossed paper from my scraps and Copic markers for my image.

I was out of town yesterday so I missed posting. Today I will post 2 cards, both made from the same set. This one took a long time for me to figure out how the make random glitter snow. I ruined the image twice before I was successful. I used a splatter stamp with glue and glitter.
